Cocktail Time: Moscow Mules In Our Copper Cups

It would be simply silly for us to run a promotion featuring our Copper Turkish Cups and not dedicate an entire blog post to cocktails that are just as delightful.

Copper Mug

Now usually we don't like to be obvious in our choices  but in this case we are making an exception and picked a cocktail that you automatically would assume be the perfect match for these mugs; The Moscow Mule. We didn't choose any old regular mule for this post, we picked 2 in honor of our sweet and spicy sides.

Starting with the sweet side, we were super intrigued by this strawberry mule. The whole idea of ginger and strawberries just screams summer.

Strawberry Moscow Mule

Recipe from this fabulous blogger

  2. 1 lime, cut in half
  3. 4 ounces vodka
  4. 5 strawberries, muddled well

  2. Garnish with a lime slice and strawberry.

Makes 2 Drinks

Our next pick is for those who like a little heat. This cocktail speaks to our wild side.

Angry Mule

Recipe From Thyme Is Honey

1 shot Jalapeno + Ginger Infused Vodka (see website to learn to make your own)
1 can of Ginger Beer
2 Fresh Jalapenos
1 Fresh Ginger Root
Angostura Aromatic Cocktail Bitters
Ice Sphere Mold

DIRECTIONS

Place 2-3 thin slices of fresh jalapeno to the bottom of a glass, add 3-4 splashes of Angostura Bitters and muddle. Add ice or ice sphere and slowly pour  1 shot of Ginger + Jalapeno Infused Vodka over the ice. Top with your favorite ginger beer. Garnish with candied ginger.

So pick your poison and remember it is completely acceptable for happy hour to start a bit earlier than 5. We promise not to tell. Cheers!
